This project is located on 48th and Home Ave. in San Diego, California. It was started in late 1978 and was completed in late 1979. The land sloped away from the street on a 30 degree slope to the canyon along with the street grade falling at a 15 degree angle. The lots were zoned R2 which allowed us to construct six duplex or 12 single family dwellings.

	An access road was cut into the slope in order to give access to the drilling rig.
	We drilled two foot holes down into and below the river bed. Each hole was approx. 22' deep.
	All caissons were set by a crane and the son-a-tube was braced in place.
	Each duplex had 12 caissons per with a 18"x18" grade beam connecting the tops.
	We built retaining wall just off the street.
